Adult Bar/Bat Mitzvah

Have you always wanted to become a Bar or Bat Mitzvah?

The Adult B’nai Mitzvah class meets approximately once-a-month as a group with Rabbi Perlman and individually for Hebrew learning, as needed.  Various Hebrew instruction options are available and students are expected to read Hebrew fluently (read; not translate) by the end of the two years together.

There will also be several other get-togethers throughout the year including a Shabbat dinner.

We will celebrate the communal adult b’nai mitzvah at a Shabbat service.

There is no charge associated with the adult b’nai mitzvah class. However, there is a charge for Hebrew instruction each semester. If finances are a concern, please do not hesitate to speak to Rabbi Perlman; we have funds to support your learning, if needed. There should be no barriers to learning.

This class will not be held in the 2017-2018 year.  Please contact us if you are interested in joining the next class that forms.

For more information please email Rabbi Perlman at rabbiperlman@templeisaiah.net or call Temple Isaiah.
