Tot Shabbat & Family Services

Tot Shabbat Family Services, Dinner and Fun! - Friday evenings; 5:45 p.m.

Tot Shabbat services are family-friendly Shabbat services for families with young children and are led by Isaiah’s clergy (Rabbi Howard Jaffe, Cantor Lisa Doob and Rabbi Jill Perlman) and Rabbi Amy Hertz, Director of Congregational Learning.

Tot Shabbat services are held once a month on Friday evenings at 5:45 p.m., last about 30 minutes, and are appropriate for families and children ages 0 - 6 (older siblings are welcome). Each Tot Shabbat service includes candle lighting, giving tzedakah, an age-appropriate Shabbat service, and lots of singing!

After services, we join together for Shabbat table blessings, a complimentary family-friendly dinner and Oneg (dessert), arts and crafts activities, a playspace for our youngest guests, and the opportunity to meet other families with young children. No RSVP is required for dinner. We hope you will join us and get to know other families with young children!

The Friday dates for Tot Shabbat for 2017-2018:

September 8, October 6, November 3, December 1, Januay 5, February 9, March 2, April 13, May 11 and June 1
