Congregational Survey - A Vision for Temple Isaiah

Sh'ma Statement:

V'ahavta Statement:

Deepening Lives

Through Jewish living, learning, and experience, we open ourselves to the possibility of lives of profound depth, spiritual awe, and intellectual striving. We grow and expand when we wrestle blessing and meaning from our texts and traditions, making the old new and the new holy. Through Judaism, we make sense of our lives and know that we matter.

Inspiring Purpose

As a sacred community, we seek to transform both ourselves and the world around us. We turn to Judaism to spark within us the search for our individual and communal purposes and the means to act on them. Fulfilling the legacy of the prophet Isaiah, the namesake of our congregation, we strive to bring moral courage, justice, and Jewish values into the world.

Together

We intentionally place relationship at the center of who we are. We share our journeys, creating lasting connections and caring for one another in our joys and sorrows. We are a community of communities: an inclusive, multi-generational family of all ages and stages of life, of all races, sexual orientations, gender identities, and abilities. We are Isaiah - together.
