Knitzvah is an active, welcoming, and meaningful group that creates knit and crochet items for those in the Temple community going through medical issues and in need of a virtual hug. It also makes and donate items to domestic abuse survivors through Jewish Children & Family Service and REACH Beyond Domestic Violence as well as provide hats and scarves to local homeless men and women.

The group has regular attendees and others who drop in occasionally. Some members knit/crochet at home and drop off their finished projects. Knitzvah has a supply of donated needles, yarn, and patterns, although you are encouraged to bring your own supplies.

Knitzvah meets twice a month. The Monday group usually meets at the Temple Library from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on the second Monday of every month. The Sunday group schedule is announced by email.

All meetings are announced via the Knitzvah email list. If you have questions or would like to sign up, please email knitzvah@templeisaiah.net.
