Kabbalat Shabbat Service with Artist-in-Residence Sue Horowitz

Friday, May 19, 2017 6:15 PM   -   7:30 PM
Location: Main Sanctuary

Our congregational Kabbalat Shabbat services offered at 6:15 p.m. last about one hour, and are appropriate for families and children of all ages.

We extend a special welcome to Artist-in-Residence Sue Horowitz who joins our clergy in leading tonight's worship service. Sue Horowitz is a singer-songwriter from coastal Maine. In addition to professional performances, Sue has served as NFTY youth group advisor, congregational song leader, and URJ summer camp faculty member. She has created three CDs: Eleven Doors Open, In the Water, and The Power and the Blessing. Sue's "Hinei Mah Tov" has been included on Transcontinental Press's Ruach 5767 compilation and is included in the CCAR (Central Conference of American Rabbis) Hagaddah. Her "Y'varechecha" was a finalist in the spiritual category of the Just Plain Folks awards.
