(Parents can attend with or without their 7th Grader)

5:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Dinner (Dinner RSVPs requested by March 21 to dmarty@templeisaiah.net )
Parents will have a chance to informally talk to current Tichon Isaiah parents about their experience in the Temple Isaiah Teen Community. Dinner for parents will be served in the Meeting Room.

6:00 p.m. – 7:15 p.m. Parent Program with Rabbi Marc Baker from Gann Academy on “The Art of Education: Defining Success in a Competitive Culture”
For many students, high school has become a series of requirements in the race to college with little opportunity for growth, exploration and self-discovery. How can the high school experience achieve the right balance between striving for excellence and finding purpose and meaning in the lives of students? Join Rabbi Marc Baker for a conversation on how high school can be a place where students learn to grow as individuals, become analytical and creative thinkers and discover the importance of community. This is program is open to all Temple Isaiah parents.

7:15 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Info Session
Parents and students will learn about Tichon Isaiah & Temple Isaiah’s Teen Programs.

7th Graders will join the current Tichon Isaiah Students for dinner in the Social Hall

6:00 p.m. – 7:00  p.m. Limmud Classes
7th Graders will participate in an 8th and 9th Grade Tichon Isaiah Limmud (Learning) Class. Students will have a chance to choose the class they attend during 7th grade class time on March 22.

7:00 p.m. – 7:15 p.m.   7th graders meet in Social Hall

7:15 p.m. – 8:00  p.m. Info Session
Parents and students will learn about Tichon Isaiah & Temple Isaiah’s Teen Programs.

(Please note that the 7th graders will NOT have class on March 29. This program is in lieu of their regular class.)
